You can get Spotify controls right in Google Maps. It means you don’t need to switch to and from Spotify to control your music while you’re navigating somewhere in the car – that will be better for your safety while driving your car.

You make the connection inside Google Maps: Choose Settings from the app menu, then pick Navigation settings and Show media playback controls in Android – or Navigation and Music playback controls on iPhone.

When you start navigating you can then control your Spotify music directly in Google maps.
